The voice of experience

In 1952 a Boots chemist created E45 Cream in response to a customer request for a product that would soothe and protect the skin. By 1963 physicians had recognised it as a beneficial treatment for dry skin conditions. In 1980 it launched into pharmacy and retail, where it became the trusted dry skin name it is today. Through the 1990s and beyond, E45 extended its range into a complete emollient therapy portfolio — and we haven’t stopped innovating since.
